A Little About Me...

Hello Somersworth families! My name is Sara Pickard. This is my fifth year in Somersworth and I am thrilled to continue building relationships with each student and their families. A little history: I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology: Physical Education Pedagogy from the University of New Hampshire in 2001 before moving to southwest Florida for two years and then returned to N.H. I have taught a mix of Health and Physical Education for 17 years and recently completed my Masters of Science in P.E. from West Virginia University. I am deeply passionate about guiding students on their journey to become their best selves and I am so excited to meet and get to know your children! When I am not at school, I love kayaking, hiking, cooking, reading and designing/decorating my home. However, my all time favorite thing to do is to spend quality time with my family- my husband and two boys bring me so much joy!
